Who All Gon’ Be There? A Celebration of Culture, Community & Change

(HOUSTON, TX / LOS ANGELES, CA) — Acclaimed actor, activist, and cultural architect Kendrick Sampson is set to make history once again as he expands his annual birthday fundraiser, Who All Gon’ Be There (WAGBT), into a two-city event, merging music, activism, and community power like never before.

On March 9th in Houston and March 15th in Los Angeles, the electrifying celebration will raise critical funds for BLD PWR, the social impact organization Sampson founded to mobilize artists, organizers, and communities toward equity, justice, and collective care.

More than a party, WAGBT is a cultural movement—a space where joy meets purpose, community meets action, and music fuels momentum for change.

Imagine: Soul Train energy, Cotton Club elegance, Everyday People vibes, Showtime at the Apollo surprises—all wrapped into one legendary night.

Expect an unmatched lineup of chart-topping R&B artists, surprise celebrity guests, DJs, and cultural leaders, all rallying together in support of Black-owned businesses, grassroots activists, and creative communities.

Media Note: Special guest announcements will be embargoed and shared with press closer to the event dates.

BLD PWR x The Session R&B Jams: A Year-Long Collaboration Begins

Who All Gon’ Be There isn’t just a two-night experience—it marks the beginning of a movement.

This year’s event officially launches a nationwide partnership between BLD PWR and The Session R&B Jams, expanding the cultural and musical experience to multiple cities across the country throughout 2025 and beyond.

For this special R&B Jam edition, Isaiah Parks and The Session R&B Jam will curate a powerful, immersive live music experience, featuring top-tier R&B talent, powerhouse vocalists, and soul-stirring performances of the songs that made babies, healed heartbreaks, and defined generations—all while fueling BLD PWR’s grassroots initiatives.

"WAGBT is about breaking barriers and building community," says Kendrick Sampson. "It’s a liberated space where joy, culture, and connection collide—where we celebrate, dance, laugh, and organize while raising critical funds for our mission."

Bringing Harlem Renaissance Energy to 2025
