Ready to Love (OWN), Season 3 Houston Castmates make Nuptial Announcements amid Surprise Appearance in Upcoming Season

HOUSTON, TX (December 29, 2022)—— Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) will premiere the 7th season of its hit dating series Ready to Love Friday, January 6 at 8 p.m. EST | 7 p.m. CST and Houston’s own Rashid Floyd and Symone Redwine of Season 3, Ready to Love: Welcome to the Last Resort are set to make a surprise appearance on the premiere episode as a couple.
Offering the new cast advice and words of encouragement, Rashid will also make this moment memorable and officially propose to Symone. The couple were both casted on the same season but did not start dating until after the show. Since then, Rashid and Symone have opened their relationship to the world via their social platforms and have launched their widely sought after podcast, “Ages & Stages”, which averaged 1.5M total views on Youtube in 2022.
In celebration of the new Ready to Love season, their special appearance and engagement, Rashid and Symone will host a private viewing and official engagement event on January 6 at Brava, 414 Milam St, Houston, TX 77002 from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. CST.
The star-studded private guest list is comprised of Rashid and Symone’s castmates and personalities across the OWN family of shows, including Ready to Love castmates, along with entertainment industry friends and family. Attendees will watch the season premier, mix and mingle over passed hors d'oeuvres and enjoy specialty cocktails by Hennessy and GO3 Vodka.
